Long-time interculturalist and YS supporter Jeremy Solomons is inviting all YS members to a virtual Intercultural Townhall. Jeremy, who co-founded SIETAR Italia and USA and who has recently relocated to Rwanda (his ninth country to live in), will try to answer any questions you might have about surviving and thriving as an independent intercultural trainer, coach and consultant (or about getting started). The questions could focus on practical issues (e.g. How do I get real work experience when I do not yet have much or any?), sensitive money and ethics issues (e.g. How much should I charge for ...? What if clients ask me to do ...?) or personal issues (e.g. Why the heck would a highly successful consultant in Texas move half way around the world to start from scratch in a small East African country?). Or, in other words, is a healthy dose of idealism and impracticality a prerequisite for a successful intercultural career.
If you are interested in meeting Jeremy (virtually) and ask him all your question, save the date (March 31th, 7pm CET) and register with Nadine at education.training@youngsietar.org including your name, preferred contact e-mail address and any questions you can already think of. Please note that the webinar is only for Young SIETAR members. Not a member but would like to join? Check it out here: http://www.youngsietar.org/join-us/
