Intercultural Training with Hannah Lambeck and Nadine Binder

In this session, YS board members Hannah and Nadine share their experience of working as intercultural trainers from the perspective of being an independent freelancer and being an employed trainer. Both of them regularly facilitate train-the-trainer programs, supporting others in becoming intercultural trainers. They provide insights into the diversity of clients, topics, and formats they work with and are excited to answer any questions you might have about getting started as an intercultural trainer.

Hannah is a people enthusiast, driven by curiosity and fascinated by otherness. As an intercultural trainer and coach, she supports companies, teams and individuals to move out of their comfort zone and recognize that "different doesn't mean worse". Her passion and interest in exploring differences and engaging with people from around the globe has led her to living and working in the USA, The Netherlands, Canada and Peru. Today Hannah is based in Cologne, Germany and enjoys finding new ways of bringing together people and cultures. With freedom and flexibility being one of her main values, you can frequently find Hannah touring around in her mini camper. She is a lover of good food, the outdoors and basketball. In all parts of life, she enjoys having and creating meaningful connections with others. |
Nadine is an intercultural trainer and coach specialized in intercultural competence development, diversity & inclusion, time- and self-management as well as Personal Leadership. Nadine combines her work as an intercultural trainer and project manager for intercultural education projects at InterCultur (a non-profit in Hamburg, Germany) with freelance work as an independent trainer and coach. Prior to that, Nadine lived, studied and worked in Northern and Southern Germany, the Netherlands, and Australia and received her PhD in Psychology for her research on intercultural competence development and assessment. When she is not facilitating learning experiences, she loves running and lifting weights, indulging in new culinary experiences, or just getting cozy with a good book and a glass of wine. |
