The TOIT Conference is committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all participants. This Code of Conduct defines expected behavior across all conference spaces.

Respect & Inclusion

We ensure a respectful, inclusive, and culturally safe environment for all participants.

Safe Environment

Harassment, discrimination, and unsafe behavior are strictly not tolerated at any event.

1. Purpose

The TOIT Conference fosters intercultural dialogue, learning, and collaboration in a professional and respectful environment.

3. Expected Behavior

4. Unacceptable Behavior

  • Harassment, discrimination, or intimidation
  • Offensive or discriminatory language
  • Unwanted physical or sexual attention
  • Misgendering or refusal of pronouns
  • Disruption of sessions
  • Retaliation against reporters

5. Reporting Concerns

Reports can be made to organizers in person or via email. All concerns will be handled confidentially and seriously. Retaliation is strictly prohibited.

6. Consequences

  • Warning
  • Removal from sessions or event
  • Ban from future events
  • Notification of institutions if required

7. Alcohol & Social Events

Participants must consume responsibly. Alcohol does not excuse misconduct.

8. Photography & Media

Photography may occur during the event. Participants should inform organizers if they do not consent. Recording sessions without permission is prohibited.

9. Data Protection

Personal data is processed in accordance with GDPR. See our Privacy Policy for details.

10. Scope

This Code applies during the conference, related events, and official digital communication spaces.
